Sandra A Amato

 

Sandra A. Amato named the
Executive Director of The Arc of
Southington Friday, October 15, 2005.

Sandra is a member of National
Conference of Executive Directors,
CT Conference of Executive Directors
and has served on many CT Department of Developmental Services committees over the years.

She has been with the agency since January of 1996 and received the Humanitarian
Award for The Arc of Southington in 2000.

She has twenty plus years of experience in the field of Human Service, served as a guardian for a young women with severe disabilities for twenty
years and serves as an advocate for a young man
with disabilities for the last seventeen years.

Sandra sat on The Commission for the Handicapped in Wolcott for the past six years and is
active in the community advocating for people with disabilities in Wolcott.
